Atmosphere – Foundation Room Boston is an attractive, snazzy restaurant lounge near Fenway Park that attracts an upscale, mixed crowd. It is inside the House of Blues Boston. It has a very middle eastern feel to the interior with vibrant colors and tapestries on the walls. The Foundation Room Boston looks like it is out of the movie Aladdin to me. The interior is very attractive. As for the House of Blues Boston, it was basically built as a concert venue that can hold 2,500 but also has a function room/lounge that can seat 350 and a restaurant that can seat 150. There is a large stage at the back of the main room (duh) and there is wide open space all the way from the front to the stage. There is also mezzanine seating and two floors of balcony space above the main floor.

My Opinion – The Foundation Room at the House of Blues is a great place to go on a weekend night and they play really good dance music. The House of Blues as a concert venue is the best place to go and see a show in Boston and is kind of the only place of its kind, thus being the best venue of its kind. Seriously though this a great place to catch your favorite band play when they come to town, it can get crowded as one would imagine but there are a few bars and it is not as much of a nightmare to get a drink as one would think. The Foundation Room is where you want to go here to hang out an get drinks.
