Atmosphere – Ned Devines is very nice inside, supposedly they have imported murals and imported original Irish woodwork. There’s lots of crazy strobe lights and stuff on the dance floor. Ned Devines is very large space with the entrance being at ground level but most of the bar is and nightclub are upstairs on the second floor. Upon entering the second floor, you will see a large bar on the right side and seating on the left. If you walk down a long hallway you will come out to Parris Nightclub which is the room that has the live bands and DJs and open space to dance.

My Opinion – For how nice this place is, how much effort was put into creating the atmosphere, I think it is the mother of all Irish Pub type of places in Boston. Plus, it has a great location in one of the most historic buildings in the country. With 2 floors and multiple rooms, this is also one of the largest venues in Boston on top of everything else. It’s cool how one part has a really laid back bar atmosphere and another has more of a dance atmosphere. All in all a place you must go to at least once to check out if you haven’t been.
