Squealing Pig Boston

The Low DownThe Squealing Pig Boston has a pub feel, small to medium sized venue, kind of dim and dingy inside, the exposed brick give its sort of a classic vibe but some of the seating is a little different than your usual bar. This restaurant/bar (which as a side note serves a great breakfast) is hidden right off Huntington. When I tell people I live in the Mission, The Squealing Pig Boston is usually one of the places they mention. The spot I like best is the little side room with the fireplace. If you go with a crowd and take of the side room it can be a good time. It has an old school feel and I think it’s best for dinner and some beers. Like most bars in this area it’s not really built for club type shit. They do live music from time to time and can get pretty crowded. When it comes to Mission hill, I would consider it in the big 3 (Mission, Pig, and Penguin).
