Atmosphere – The Tam Boston is everything you would expect from a dive bar, long corridor set up but not too narrow so it doesn’t get stuffy. This is a small to medium sized, well lit venue with kitschy beer décor on the walls. The Tam Boston has arcade games in this little room in the back and one of those digital jukeboxes.

My Opinion – So I recently (Sept 2010) stopped in to the Tam and I really have to say I liked this place a lot. The drinks are priced fairly, the bartenders are super friendly and have probably worked there for ages. When I went in there I was a little overdressed which I thought would be weird but everyone in there was super cool and people we just starting random conversations and not being too cliquey as opposed to when we were around the corner at a “high class” joint, I looked in one girl’s direction and she looked at me like I had dog shit smeered on my forehead. If you enjoy the friendly, relaxed vibe where people don’t hate everyone that didn’t walk in the door with them, or you want to escape some of the more pretentious spots in the area, stop into this little gem.
